Hayleigh Evans is a theatre-maker and the co-founder of POPArt Theatre which facilitates the Front of House and Stage Management for The Centre for the Less Good Idea.
With a background in theatre-making and mentoring, as well as facilitating and running the day-to-day operations of an independent theatre, Evans lends her skills to a number of elements across The Centre for the Less Good Idea – from ensuring that the ideas of each artist are realised, to helping performers locate their works in the space itself.
Season 5 sees Evans once again taking on the role of Front of House and Stage Management co-ordinator for The Centre, alongside POPArt’s Technical Manager Emil Lars and a team of students from the Market Theatre Lab and Wits Performing Arts management to ensure that each performance can be realised to its full potential and that audiences are given a smooth experience.
