Taking place 24 - 28 April 2019
Programmes starting at 6:30 and 8pm daily
Waldo Alexander is a renowned freelance violinist.
With an interest in New Music and an ongoing experimentation with sound and discipline, Alexander takes naturally to the free-flowing nature of collaborative musical exploration and arrangement. He has also collaborated with The Centre for the Less Good Idea’s founder William Kentridge, Season 4 pianist Jill Richards, and has formed a part of The Centre’s second Season.
Season 5 sees Alexander lending his skills to an 11-minute epic by João Orecchia that explores musical personality and instrumentation through the restrictions of sound, time, and composition.
