Taking place 24 - 28 April 2019
Programmes starting at 6:30 and 8pm daily
Netsayi is an award-winning singer-songwriter and performing artist.
Netsayi uses music as a device to communicate and make sense of various histories and lived experiences. During her time with The Centre for the Less Good Idea, Netsayi will be developing a new work entitled Things Fall Together with long-time musical ally Ray Mupfumira, Collen Tom and collaborators across a range of disciplines. The piece is an evocative meditation on the hidden nexus between colonisation, culture and climate change.
Things Fall Together will see Netsayi employing emotive music and imagery to weave together a story of the interlaced fates of Zimbabwe and South Africa, exploring chilling, relevant truths. Things Fall Together dares us yet to hope…
