Taking place 24 - 28 April 2019
Programmes starting at 6:30 and 8pm daily
Khutjo Green is an award-winning actor, performer, collaborator, and clown who brings a strong emphasis of play to her work.
For Green, who’s worked previously with The Centre for the Less Good Idea, the use of technology in Season 5 is something she’s keen on exploring, with the unfamiliarity of the medium being a welcome challenge to her practice. Rather than aiming to create works that fit in with the medium of VR technologies, Green intends to further amplify the inherent energy and magnetism of theatrical performance through the use of 360 Virtual Reality film.
For Season 5 Green will be participating in, and leading a number of works, both in the 11-minute epic and 360 VR film formats that will traverse the realms of madness, interrogate the idea of co-dependency, and seek out the presence (or highlight the absence) of the black, female clown.
