Taking place 24 - 28 April 2019
Programmes starting at 6:30 and 8pm daily
Jonah Sack is a visual artist working across the realms of painting, sculpture, video, and artist’s books, all of which stem from his practice of drawing.
Sack is interested in the moments and landscapes that will exist in the world, post humanity, and the objects that remain to bear witness to it all. Over the course of The Centre for the Less Good Idea’s 5th Season, Sack has been further exploring these interests, prompted by the emphasis on both the written word and the movement of the body in the workshopping exercises led by co-curators David April and Phala O. Phala.
For Season 5 of The Centre for the Less Good Idea, Sack will be producing a 360 VR film and installation work that, through the use of various images and film clips, will revolve around the ideas of beauty, stillness, collapse, perseverance, and more.
