This month we’ll be introducing you to the astonishing talent currently building Season 5 at The Centre for the Less Good Idea. Coming 24 - 27 April 2019.
Bookings will open online by 24 March at www.lessgoodidea.com
Co-curated by Phala Ookeditse Phala and David April, Season 5 of The Centre for the Less Good Idea sees traditional forms of art and performance being re-imagined through free-spirited, transdisciplinary collaboration and the alternative realities made possible by short form staged performances called EPICS and VR 360degree films in the next iteration of The Invisible Exhibition.
Lulu Mlangeni is an award-winning dancer, teacher, and choreographer.
Mlangeni’s practice incorporates a strong element of texture to the art of movement and has seen her perform on stages across the world. Through The Centre for the Less Good Idea, she hopes to further explore the realms of movement through observing and collaborating with the various artists and skill sets that make up Season 5.
In collaboration with Mdu Nhlapo, Mlangeni will be working on a physical-theatre-based 11-minute epic built around the suspenseful, complicated moments leading up to the imminent assassination of the Aristocrat.
